History of Express Stop

Express Stop Convenience Stores were established in 1957 by Galen E. Wilson, with Wilson Petroleum, in the Saginaw, MI area. Wilson Petroleum was then purchased in 2013 by Corrigan Oil Company out of Brighton, Michigan, creating the initial 17 store chain.

Over the next few years the chain continued to grow in other areas of Michigan. In 2016, Senior Oil and Wykstra Oil were purchased and expanded Express Stop to the west side of the state. Today, Express Stops can be found throughout the State of Michigan, with over 50 locations!

Express Stop offers major brand gasoline, a wide range of convenience store products and a team of friendly, helpful faces behind the counter. Express Stop is a proud Michigan grown company and looks forward to coming to a location near you!
